According to a survey done by creditcards.com, nearly 34 million Americans were late on making their credit card payments and about 18 million people failed to make payments mainly due to lack of funds. The survey also found that 4 out 10 Americans were carrying revolving credit card debut with over 6% percent carrying over $10,000 or more in credit card balance.
Americans spent over $20 billion dollars on late fees and penalty to banks in 2008 yet somehow the banks still reported massive losses.
The easiest way is to stop the late fees and payment is to totally stop using the credit cards. Stop spending more than what you are making.
