Hyatt has announced their fall Hyatt Gold Passport global bonus point promotion. This promotion will run from September 1-November 30, and you must register by October 31. Registration opens August 15th. To register, call 1-800-228-3360 or visit Hyatt.com.

5,000 Hyatt Gold Passport bonus points will be awarded after the first 5 eligible nights & 10,000 more for every 5 nights thereafter. You can earn up to 65,000 bonus points (35 nights) that are redeemable for free nights with no blackout dates, room upgrades, and more. Hyatt Credit Card members will also earn 20% more bonus points. That comes out to 1,000 more after the first 5 nights & 2,000 additional every 5 nights thereafter.

FREE VIP Lounge for Visa Chase Cardholders at the London Olympics

The 2012 London Olympic Games are looming upon us! Chase members can make the most of their trip just by flashing their Visa card to gain exclusive access to Visa’s VIP Lounge. Up to 5 guests can also accompany cardholder, provided that there is space. This event is FREE, but as space is limited and sure to fill up quick, it is best to RSVP (you also receive a special welcome gift if you do).

The Visa VIP Lounge is located at 116 Pall Mall in London’s West End, just a short distance from the Olympic Games and other London sights. It will be open daily during the Olympic Games, July 27-August 12, from 10:00 am to midnight.

The VIP Lounge will feature:

  • Celebrity Chef Morimoto Culinary Experiences*
  • Appearances by Olympic Athletes
  • Food, wine, beer and other refreshments daily
  • Free Wi-Fi and more than 10 HDTVs throughout the Lounge

*Cardholders and up to 6 guests are limited to 2 culinary experiences by Iron Chef Morimoto. Registration can be done here. The calendar should be updated when more information becomes available. You can also opt to get updates via email.

Free nights can be used in any available standard room within one year worldwide. Allow 10 days for rewards to be posted. Cardholders can enjoy preferred rooms, complimentary internet access, expedited check-in, and late check-out.

Hyatt Tokyo, Hyatt London and Hyatt Shanghai are worth over $400-$500 per night with Hyatt Paris going for $900 per night.  The free hotels are well worth over $1,000-$1,800!

For as long as your Hyatt credit card is open and not in default, you can earn Hyatt Gold Passport points redeemable for rewards. 3 points will be rewarded for each $1 made at Hyatt locations and 1 point per dollar everywhere else. Free nights can be redeemed for as few as 5,000 points.
